Time Management: Wednesday July 28, 2010 6:30-9pm,
This class will help you run your business more efficiently by showing you how to identify and focus on the activities that give you the greatest returns. By learning time management techinques, you will actually save time by helping you work smarter, not harder. Instructor: Caroline (Cary) Sheehan, General Manager of Office Suites Plus.

This free session provides an overview of the programs and services offered at New Visions, New Ventures. Clients will meet with a business counselor and receive recommendations on which training classes and counselors are appropriate for their phase in business.

Starting a Business: Tuesday, August 3, 2010, 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.;



Thursday August 26, 2010 6:30 p.m.- 9p.m.
Come learn the basics of starting a business including how and where to file for a business license and tax ID number, the basics of business financing, methods for building a business network, and the importance of customer service. Business Financing: Thursday, August 5, 2010, 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
This workshop provides an overview of SBA Community Express Loans as well general information about business financing and positioning your credit to obtain a small business loan. You may also download a Community Express loan information packet from our website. Instructor Julie Tidvosky-James, Business Finance Associate, NVNV.
Breadwinners Certification Program- Ingredient Identification and Nutrition:
Monday, August 9. 6:30pm-8:30pm
Sally Norton, a professional in the field of nutrition, will discuss basic ingredient identification to help give the participant a sense of common terms on ingredient lists in an effort to make students more aware of the products they use. Ms. Norton will also discuss some effects of common ingredients like wheat, dairy, corn, and soy on allergy symptoms. Instructor: Sally Norton, Owner of My Food Matters

This 3 session class enables you to explore your personal and business goals as they directly relate to your finances.
