Rene’ Haines is a native of New Jersey.  She was accepted to Virginia Wesleyan College on an early admissions program, (skipping her senior year of high school) and also with an academic scholarship.  She graduated in 1981 with magna cum laude honors, was a charter member of the VWC Leadership Honor Society, a charter member of Omicron Delta Kappa national honor society and a member of Phi Alpha Theta national honor society in history.


Rene’ brings over 25 years of experience in the business world.  She has held various executive positions throughout her career.  Rene’ held the position of Corporate Vice President with a company in Norfolk that was a supplier to the US Navy, international and domestic merchant ships and did some exporting.  Rene’ has also held the position of General Manager for other companies, ranging from the maritime industry to the wholesale industry.  She also has experience in the fields of logistics, supply chain, purchasing, warehousing/distribution, international and domestic marketing and retail distribution.  


Rene’ is currently the President/Owner of RH Business Solutions, LLC (www.RHBUSINESSSOLUTIONS.com) a business advisory firm located in the Richmond metropolitan area.  RH Business Solutions specializes in working with small and medium sized businesses who don’t have the luxury of a Board of Directors.  Rene’ and her team can create a business plan, do a detailed business audit to determine the strengths and weaknesses of each company, design a customized action plan and then meet with the business owner on a regular basis to assist in implementing the plans until positive results are realized.


Rene’ is also an accredited Executive Associate with the Institute for Independent Business (www.iibusa.org).  The IIB is an international accreditation body for business advisors who are former senior executives.
