Women's Business Center

The Women's Business Center assists entrepreneurs who are starting or expanding small businesses.  Services include:

Business Training
The Women's Business Center offers a comprehensive schedule of training for entrepreneurs who are starting or expanding their businesses.  Our core curriculum consists of our Business Start Up class, our in-depth Business Planning series as well as a class to enhance existing businesses.  Each quarter NVNV also offers a number of specialized workshops with topics ranging from e-commerce and marketing to legal issues.  Click here for a schedule of upcoming courses.

Business Counseling
The Women's Business Center offers free business counseling to clients with existing businesses as well as emerging entrepreneurs.  We suggest that anyone seeking counseling first attend an orientation session after which they will be directed to the appropriate counselor for their issue.

Access to Capital
The Women's Business Center provides technical assistance for the SBA’s Community Express Loan Program.  In this capacity NVNV provides loan packaging assistance, accepts and submits applications for underwriting and serves as a liaison between the lender and the borrower.  Loans are available in amounts ranging from $5,000 to $50,000.  Click here for more information.

Networking Opportunities and Events
The Women's Business Center recognizes that networking is one of the most effective ways to promote businesses and is committed to providing our clients with opportunities to meet other professionals in the community.  Each month we offer a chance for clients as well as members of the community to interact at a number of unique venues.  Check our course calendar for a schedule of our upcoming networking events.
